Job Description
Together with the Cluster Maintenance Manager, as a Technical Service Employee you will be involved in everything related to maintenance and technology inside and outside the hotels. This is a versatile and varied position in which your responsibilities include solving problems and malfunctions quickly and efficiently, following up on ad hoc complaints and preventive technical expert work within the two hotels. Your duties also include maintenance in the rooms and public areas of the hotels.
You are responsible for maintaining the unique appearance of the various hotels and their guest rooms. Furthermore, you will study the many facilities that the hotels have and you will be able to work both as part of a team and independently. We are looking for solid experience, a 'hands on' mentality, someone with a good work ethic and who expects a high quality of work from himself and colleagues.
Your duties and responsibilities include;
- Troubleshooting and repairs on equipment, plumbing, lighting, hardware, among others.
- You will also perform (repair) painting.
- Call in third parties/assemblers for power supply, central heating, elevators, etc. failures through supervisor and co-coordinate. After this, you are to supervise these third parties/assemblers.
- Stock control of materials (e.g.: lamps, furniture, small equipment).
- Under instructions from supervisors, perform general duties such as connecting audiovisual equipment and cleaning/cleaning public areas and the outside grounds.
