Samen met de Cluster Maintenance Manager ben je als Medewerker Technische Dienst betrokken bij alles wat met onderhoud en techniek binnen en buiten de hotels te maken heeft. Het gaat hier om een veelzijdige en afwisselende functie waarin je onder andere verantwoordelijk bent voor het snel en efficiënt oplossen van problemen en storingen, het opvolgen van ad-hoc klachten en preventief technisch deskundig werk binnen een aantal Amsterdamse hotels. Ook het onderhoud op de kamers en in de openbare ruimtes van de hotels behoort tot jouw werkzaamheden.
You are responsible for maintaining the unique appearance of the various hotels and their guest rooms. Furthermore, you will study the many facilities that the hotels have and you will be able to work both as part of a team and independently. We are looking for solid experience, a 'hands on' mentality, someone with a good work ethic and who expects a high quality of work from himself and colleagues.
Your duties and responsibilities include;
- Troubleshooting and repairs on equipment, plumbing, lighting, hardware, among others.
- You will also perform (repair) painting.
- Call in third parties/assemblers for power supply, central heating, elevators, etc. failures through supervisor and co-coordinate. After this, you are to supervise these third parties/assemblers.
- Stock control of materials (e.g.: lamps, furniture, small equipment).
- Under instructions from supervisors, perform general duties such as connecting audiovisual equipment and cleaning/cleaning public areas and the outside grounds.
