Meeting & Events Coordinator

What will you do?
As an M&E Coordinator, you will be involved in the entire process of a meeting and/or event from start to finish. This includes maximizing revenue for the 11 hotels within The Vincent Hotel Group's portfolio. You will be working with the three most well-known and recognized hotel brands. We will teach you how to work with our tools, systems, and group inquiries and give you the best sales tips and tricks to close deals with our clients for today and for the future. In addition, you will be jointly responsible for achieving set targets and budget goals. You will do this together with a nice, close and driven team and you will report directly to the Booking Office Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Close deals; offer and confirm applications for all kinds of groups in accordance with guidelines;
- Helping organize all kinds of different business events, seminars, dinners, parties and celebrations.
- Maintain contacts with intermediaries and travel agents;
- Ensure relevant information on groups is kept up-to-date for the cluster sales team;
- Working closely with the various team members;
- Perform work within SOPs & guidelines;
- Build/ensure long-term customer relationships (both internal and external);
- Ensure accurate and customer-focused correspondence.
Where do you end up?
You will be working in the Support Office of The Vincent Hotel Group, located on the 8th floor of one of our hotels: Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Here you will work closely with your direct colleagues the Booking Office, but you will also collaborate with the other departments. The Vincent Hotel Group is an organization with 11 hotels in its portfolio. The hotels all have a franchise contract, supporting marketing, sales and distribution, with the well-known hotel brands; Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Hampton by Hilton.
