As Duty Manager intern, you are the spider in the hotel web. You are present on the floor for the guests and employees and offer support in administrative tasks. You will welcome and respond to our guests' needs and help exceed them. You cooperate where needed while motivating, controlling, and helping your colleagues. You switch easily from one challenge to another without losing overview and fun.
As a Duty Manager Intern, your responsibilities include:
- The first impression is important and makes the difference, therefore in this position you will be responsible for co-managing the general service team and checking the public areas for beauty and appearance.
- Safety for guest and staff is paramount in the hotel, one of the disciplines you will be actively involved in is ensuring active Fire/ Life/ Safety policies in the hotel, walking napy rounds, ensuring a good Manager On Duty report of the day and various checks in FLS area will be among the duties.
- Helping out at peak times in the F&B or Front Office is no stranger to you and this will allow you to get to know these departments and their working methods better.
- During the absence of the Management Team you will be the first point of contact for guests and colleagues this can be about all kinds of issues such as; information requests, complaints or help.
